Formed in Berlin during lockdown, LIAR is the Norwegian trio whose music is a reflection of power dynamics, pop culture and the messy beauty of their real-world experiences.

The act to watch at Øya festival last summer, LIAR is a constellation of desires and vulnerabilities, navigating between myths, legends and the hypnotic allure of the club.
Creating genre-bending underground sounds - self-dubbed ‘girlypop techno’ - they draw inspiration from their home countries' folklore and artists such as Björk, FKA Twigs and ShyGirl to form their unique creative identity.
